Now Anne Rice’s retelling of the Beauty story probes the unspoken implications of this lush, suggestive tale by exploring its undeniable connection to sexual desire. An erotic novel that actually has a story line!

Its the steamist thing ever written and to think its a trilogy is alarming cause I’m sure the first book is the tip no pun intended of the iceberg. My first book as an adult I masturbated to this book probably more frequently than I have for any other book. Book two was so-so Rice reimagined the story of Sleeping Beauty, with her not being awakened with a kiss, but by being raped by the Prince while she slept.

I think she just saw “Sleeping Beauty” and assumed I’d want it. I just felt character development could have been better because the world and situations were so fantastic.

It brought forth my desires in a way that I couldn’t describe or explain. Knowing Anne Rice works, I was expecting a different kind of thriller or possibly a romance novel since it was written in a pen name AN Roquolaire.

What did you expect? He cuts through the deadly vines, “It was not his desire to die so much as conquer.

Going by the rule of “did you enjoy yourself reading it? Really mixed feeling about this.
