We have this long drawn out mentally draining story, a great story, but the end was wrapped up so quickly that I can’t help but be little upset about that. Sweet, beautiful and innocent on the outside. I am all for the brooding male Dom, but I will have to admit, this one was a little tough for me at times. His thumb brushed across the very top of my thigh where the bruising began.

It was not and if 50 shades was your introduction to BDSM be prepared to read a very different take on in Generational Sins. Generational Sins went far outside my normal comfort zone so I was surprised that I enjoyed it as much as I did.

I also liked the way Samantha Blair told the story in timelines each chapter told from Kat and David’s perspective. David was dominant in an abusive way — taught by his father. While the sex scenes were hot, the story itself didn’t get me all bothered so even the sex scenes fell flat to me. David and Kat are both in college when they meet, starting off as lab partners. I could tell that he was tracing the black and blue handprints with his eyes.

Generational Sins Series

I was captivated from the opening paragraph which was shocking and gives you a taste of what is to come until the end. It’s one thing to like sex rough, there are times when we all want it let’s be honestbut its another to be called ‘slut’ while you’re having it or to be slapped so hard you have bruises on you.

Mom is also an abused doormat. After being raised by an abusive father, physically abusive to him and sexually and physically abusive to his mother, David Paulson was sure that he could never bring someone more than a one night stand into his life or into his family It was everything I had ever wanted, and it scared the fuck out of me.

You feel for all the characters and what they went thru.

I was warned about the first chapter so I knew what to expect, but it was still a hugely confronting scene that really set the tone for Richard and everyone’s relationship with him. David’s own mother, Ellen, has spent decades under Richard’s abusing control, and David has been a witness to it. This work in whole or in part may not be reproduced without written permission from the author. He is gorgeous, goal oriented and wreaks sophistication.

I fell into the pattern really quick so it didn’t bother me; but some may not like that. This book seems to have been compared to 50 Shades of Grey. The light in my dark.

I tried to finish it- I figured if I just skimmed through some parts maybe I could get into it. This was very confusing to read. He’s one caring and loving husband.

There is so much that goes on in this book that it must be read to truly enjoy the up and down ride that you get from reading it.

I was totally taken back by it since I’ve never read it before. Kat and David were just so perfect together. Control is the only thing he loves and respects. He needed to learn to be a Dom because he was in a relationship with an experienced Sub.

This book is difficult to describe. First of all, I found sxmantha shifting of sijs and narrator to be so confusing. But I was thoroughly disappointed. Kat is an intelligent, beautiful girl who just happens to have a submissive side that she aches to have David dominate. I got the feeling that his need to spank and be dominating in the bedroom was totally learned behavior and not something that truly came from within himself.

The love between both David and Kat was endearing and in my opinion made up for any troubling events that went on. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. I guess I was expecting more standard erotica, but there was a lot to it. I realized that in the end I neither love or hate it, that I did not form any emotional attachment to these characters.

I could not even buy into that at all. Will I give this author another chance? And their love on the situation one me over.

Smashwords – Generational Sins – A book by Samantha Blair – page 1

Sajantha real relationship with Kat seemed beyond David’s ability, beyond his understanding and something he wasn’t sure he had any right to even want. I lost so much faith in David I didn’t expect it to me just finished reading this book and this is the first time reviewing a book as well.

I knew I was not good for her. All I can say is this was an extremely intense, emotional roller coaster ride to read.

Generational Sins

I don’t want to give anthing away, so I will just end with saying that if you think you can handle hotter scenes and yes, with lots of romance too!

In Generational Sins, Samantha Blair tells the happy and tumultuous side of loving David – generafional young man who is broken by the sins of his father. He refused to let me waste away as I wanted to do. You had bkair feel the depravity of the father-in-law to truly grasp the overall development of all the characters involved.
